Terms & conditions
By enquiring, joining a free trial, taking admission or using our website, you agree to these terms. Where we say "we", "us" or "Lime Digital", we mean Lime Digital Institute. Where we say "you", we mean any visitor, enquirer, student, parent or business owner. Please read them together with our Privacy Policy and the Refund policy below.
01About these terms
Lime Digital Institute is a digital marketing and digital business training institute based in Rajkot, Gujarat, India. These terms cover our website limedigitalinstitute.org, our free trial classes, masterclasses and workshops, and every paid program we offer.
If anything in a written admission form or fee receipt we gave you differs from this page, the written document you signed or received for your admission applies for that point.
02Our programs
We currently offer these programs for students, working professionals and business owners:
- Digital Marketing Course: 1.5 months
- Diploma Degree Program: 3 months
- Bachelor's in Digital Business: 3 years
- Master's in Digital Business: 11 months
Fees, eligibility, batch timings and the mode of delivery (classroom, online or both) are explained at counselling and written on your admission form. Course content, tools and projects are updated from time to time so that they stay current with the industry.
033-day free trial
- The trial is free. We do not ask for payment, card details or any advance to attend it.
- Seats are limited, and we may ask you to book a slot. One trial per person.
- Joining the trial does not oblige you to take admission, and it does not oblige us to offer you a seat in a paid batch.
- Trial classes, recordings and materials are for your own learning only. No certificate is issued for the trial.
- When you book, you allow our counselling team to contact you about the trial and your course options, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
04Admission and eligibility
- Your admission is confirmed only when you complete the admission form, pay the fee due, and receive a fee receipt from us. Until then no seat is reserved.
- You must give accurate and complete details. We may cancel an admission that was based on false information.
- Our programs are meant for adults. If you are under 18, a parent or lawful guardian must complete the admission with you and agree to these terms.
- Some programs may need basic eligibility, such as a minimum education level or a laptop with internet. We will tell you before you pay.
- We may decline an admission, for example when a batch is full or the program is not a good fit. In that case we return anything you paid in full.
05Fees and payment
- The fee for your program is the amount stated in your admission form or fee receipt. GST and other taxes are added where the law requires.
- You can pay by bank transfer, UPI, card or other methods offered at the time, through banks, UPI apps and payment gateways. We do not store your card or UPI details.
- If we offer instalments, each instalment is due on the date written in your fee schedule. If an instalment is overdue, we may pause your access to classes and materials until it is paid.
- A fee paid for one person or one program cannot be moved to another person or another program, except as set out in the Refund policy below.
- The fee you agreed at admission will not go up while you study that program, even if we change the price for new students.
06Conduct and attendance
We want every class to be a safe and useful place to learn. As a student you agree to:
- attend classes on time and complete assignments and projects as set by your trainer;
- treat trainers, staff and other students with respect, and not harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone;
- not record, copy or share class sessions, study material or login details without our written permission;
- take care of the campus, computers and lab equipment, and pay for damage you cause;
- not use our name, logo or certificate in a misleading way.
If these rules are broken, we may give a warning, suspend your access or end your admission. If we end an admission for misconduct, no refund is due.
07Certificates and assessments
- We issue a certificate, diploma or degree as stated in your admission form once you complete the required attendance, assignments, projects and assessments for your program.
- We may hold a certificate back while fees are unpaid or while a conduct matter is open.
- Employers or institutions can verify a certificate by writing to us at digital@limeinstitute.org with the student's name and certificate number.
- A certificate shows that you completed our program. It is not a licence to practise, and its recognition by other institutions or employers is their decision.
08Placement support and results
We help students and alumni with CV and portfolio reviews, interview preparation, internship and job openings, and introductions to hiring partners. Business owners get practical frameworks and tools for growing their own business.
09Intellectual property
- Our course material, videos, recordings, templates, tools, frameworks, name, logo and website content belong to Lime Digital Institute or its licensors.
- While you are enrolled, you may use them for your own personal learning. You may not copy, sell, share, upload or teach from them without our written permission.
- The work you create in the course remains yours. We will use your name, photo, work or review in our marketing only with your written consent, as set out in our Privacy Policy.
- If you work on a live project for a business, you must have the right to use that business's content and data.
10Changes made by Lime
Sometimes we need to change plans. We may change a class time, trainer, tool or lab, or merge or reschedule a batch, and we will tell you in advance whenever we can. If we are unable to run your batch at all, or cannot offer a reasonable alternative, you can choose a full refund of the fees you paid or a seat in a later batch.
We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our control, such as power or internet failure, natural events, public emergencies or government orders. In such cases we will make up the missed sessions in a reasonable time.
11Website, reviews and offers
- Use our website lawfully. Do not try to break into it, overload it, scrape it or send false enquiries through our forms.
- Our pages link to other sites such as YouTube, Google and social media. We do not control them, and their own terms apply.
- Reviews on our site and on Google are the views of the people who wrote them. We may remove content that is abusive, false or off-topic. See our Editorial & Review Policy.
- Discounts, scholarships, referral rewards and special offers come with the conditions published with them. Unless stated, offers cannot be combined and have no cash value.
12Liability
We take care to teach well and to keep our website and campus safe. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, such as lost profit, lost opportunity or loss of data. Our total liability for any claim linked to a program is limited to the fees you paid for that program.
Nothing in these terms takes away any right you have under Indian consumer law, or limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
13Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If you have a complaint, please first write to our Grievance Officer using the details at the end of this page. We will acknowledge it within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 30 days.
If we cannot settle it, the courts at Rajkot, Gujarat have jurisdiction, without affecting your right to approach a consumer commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
14Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when our programs, tools or the law change. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the latest version. Fees you have already paid stay covered by the terms and refund policy that applied when you took admission, unless a change is better for you.
Refund policy
We would like you to join only when you are sure. This policy tells you exactly when you can cancel and how much comes back to you. It is part of the terms above.
R1Where refunds apply
- 3-day free trial: it costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund.
- Paid programs: the Digital Marketing Course, Diploma Degree Program, Bachelor's in Digital Business and Master's in Digital Business follow the schedule below.
- Masterclasses and workshops: if a paid event is cancelled by us, you get a full refund. If you cannot attend, you can ask to move to the next event.
R2Refund schedule
The refund depends on when we receive your written request (see R5), counted from the start date of your batch.
| When you ask | What you get back |
|---|---|
| Before your batch starts | 100% of the fees paid |
| Within 3 days after your first class | 75% of the fees paid |
| From day 4 to day 7 after your first class | 50% of the fees paid |
| After 7 days from your first class | No refund. You may use the batch shift option in R3 instead. |
If a payment gateway or bank keeps a processing charge that it does not return to us, that amount is deducted from the refund.
R3Batch shift option
If you cannot continue because of a genuine reason, such as illness, a family emergency or a job transfer, you can ask to move your admission to a later batch of the same program instead of taking a refund.
- Ask within 14 days of your first class and share simple proof of the reason.
- It is allowed once per student and is subject to seat availability.
- There is no extra fee for the shift. The fee you paid is carried over to the new batch.
R4When no refund applies
- Your request comes after the windows in R2 have closed.
- Your admission was ended for misconduct or false information (Terms, sections 04 and 06).
- You missed classes or stopped attending, or you changed your mind after the refund window.
- You received a certificate and have completed the program.
- You paid money directly to someone else, such as an ad budget to Google or Meta, a domain, hosting or a software subscription. These are not Lime Digital Institute's fees, so we cannot refund them.
- The fee was a discounted or scholarship fee, and the offer said it is non-refundable.
If we cancel your batch or cannot run it, none of these exclusions apply. Section 10 of the Terms gives you a full refund or a seat in a later batch.
R5How to ask for a refund
Please send a written request. A call alone is not enough, but you are always welcome to call first and we will help you.
- Email digital@limeinstitute.org with the subject "Refund request".
- Include your name, phone number, program and batch, fee receipt number, and the reason.
- We acknowledge your request within 48 hours and tell you our decision within 7 working days.
R6How you get your money
- Approved refunds go back by the same method you paid with: the same bank account, UPI ID or card.
- If you paid in cash, we transfer the refund to a bank account in the student's name.
- The money is sent within 7 to 10 working days of approval. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.
- We give you a refund note or credit note for your records, with GST adjusted as the law requires.
R7Instalments and failed payments
- Instalments: if you withdraw, write to us before the next instalment is due so that it can be cancelled.
- Money debited but no receipt: send us the transaction ID or a screenshot. If the payment did not reach us, your bank or gateway normally reverses it in 5 to 7 working days, and we will help you follow it up.
- Paid twice by mistake: we refund the extra amount in full.
R8Escalation and contact
If you are not happy with a decision, write to our Grievance Officer. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days. You may also approach a consumer commission as described in section 13 of the Terms.
